This follows a rise of 0.5% in January 2021 and a fall of 4.1% in December 2020.

Food retailing -3.0%, Household goods retailing +0.7%, Cafes restaurants and takeaway food services +1.1%, Clothing, footwear and personal accessory retailing +1.6%, Department stores +2.2%, and Other retailing -0.4%.
The following states and territories changed in trend terms in February 2021:
NSW +1.2%, VIC -3.0%, QLD +1.1%, the ACT +0.3%, NT -2.8%,
TAS +0.7%, SA +0.2%, WA -5.4%.
